The Forgotten Past Project looks at an area between Barmouth and Harlech in North Wales. The idea of the project is to offer a unique landscape survey, which records all the historical changes that the landscape has seen. From the Neolithic to the more recent industrial activity.
The preservation however seen in this space is exquisite, with many features still visible on the landscape and have had little impact on since there abandonment. With the area covering roughly 10.5 x 5.0 Miles ,and as such has a number of challenges, in both time and also the nature of this often barren and at time inhospitable Welsh landscape.
